All about Robby ...
After
a year of being ‘dog-less’ Denise and Bob (Susan’s sister
and brother-in-law) decided that the time was right to have another dog. On
a visit to Hull Animal Welfare at South Cave, a puppy was spotted in a compound
carrying a soft toy in his mouth and being chased by several other puppies.
He aimed for a kennel in the middle of the compound and was swiftly followed
by the other puppies. The kennel shook and rolled until out came the puppy
swiftly followed by the others. “That’s him”, said Denise
and Bob and so Robby became part of the family.
He has carried on the tradition of going to work and has roles working at
his fathers accountancy firm, ‘meeting and greeting’ responsibility
in the shop each afternoon when he feels like emerging from his corner behind
the counter and modelling designer doggy gear!
Robby’s favourite toy is a tennis ball, which he loves to chase, catch
and crunch! As a cross collie/lurcher, he needs to be occupied and therefore
personally recommends the IQ Cube, particularly the Christmas one with the
Christmas hats!
Having been the only dog in the family for a short while and finding this
position a big responsibility Robby is really pleased that Saffy has joined
the family. He is busy teaching her the ropes of how to be a Dog Shop dog,
‘meeter and greeter’ and how to play with tennis balls, chew chewsticks
and chase rabbits (without success!)
